    Got our nephew Finley and the rest of his family staying with us for a couple of days sadly his Nan passed away and we have the funeral tomorrow so took him out to the workshop this evening to try his hand at woodturning……He loved it and here’s his first bowl

    Sorry for your family’s loss Ed mate. Today is the 10th anniversary of my father in laws passing. A great man who I didn’t get the chance to know as well as I wanted to.

    The Look on his face tells a thousand words.  A great bowl. Nice one Ed!

    Great to see young people getting involved in this great hobby/craft/vocation. I’m a bit wary of using the term, “the craft” as it conjures images of clandestine meetings with rolled up trouser legs and funny handshakes.

    Lovely bowl, and he has every right to be proud of it.
