Hi , new to this forum , my name is Brian I live in West Yorkshire and I started turning a few years ago but stopped for some unknown reason however the bug has hit me and I have started to turn again , made a big mistake though I bought a small Record lathe to replace my large lathe thinking it would give my more space in the workshop now I wish that I had bought a lathe with electronic speed change ,  I came across Olivers web site by searching for a Robert Sorby ulitamate hollowing system

      Hi Brian

We all make mistakes when buying tools for woodturning it’s all part of the learning process, but it can be a little expensive at times.

If ever I can help with a bit of advice please feel free to contact me and I see if I know the answer I won’t give you any false advice.

Welcome back to woodturning and welcome to Olivers Woodturning.

      Ed

Hi, My name is Robin I am new to this forum but not to woodturning. I joined last week and thought i had made a post introducing my self but it appears that i didnt or i did it in the wrong place which is quite likely.  So i am from South East Kent, I have been turning for about 30 years and i am very keen in woodworking in general as a hobby.
