My finished ooffset open segmented vase. Made from Purpleheart ans Spalted Beech with a textured shoulder.
c&c always welcome
Nice job Brody I really like the way the segmented part is angled and the texturing around the top looks well balanced. The overall form is classic but also really suits the piece.
I think that the only way it could be improve is a thick coat of black gloss paint 🙂 Only Joking 🙂 🙂 🙂
I really think that it’s first class and a standard that many woodturners would love to be able to achieve.
Once question what size is it?
Thanks very much ed! This is the one for the article if its any good. The size is 4 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
Right then, im off to get that gloss paint……. 😉
I’m looking forward to reading it

Thanks luke. It did take a while to choose the colour combination, but I’m glad I stuck with this one.
