    Another turning from my chunk of Olive root the bowl is 340mm x 130mm and finished with 3 coats of Chestnut Microcrystal wax.

    That’s lovely. I always like natural looking stuff. Quite a bit of air being turned too which is never easy

    The video really shows it off Ed. You can see it from every angle which with a natural piece really helps.

    Did you use conventional gouges for this one?

    Yes all done with spindle roughing gouge, 1/2″ & 3/8″ bowl gouges
