An absolutely beautiful blank to turn! Keeping the form of things like this simple and  I’m finishing most of them  at the moment with mineral oil/beeswax blend as I’m trying to make things to use.

Have got some more of this on order, and I can’t wait to get my paws on it!

    c&c as always is welcome.

I also made a new donut chuck for reverse turning.

    Cheers     BrBrody

Very Nice Brody, I turn a bit of this myself and it was great fun.

Loving the donut chuck, you have been busy 🙂

Cheers Ed. It’s so very nice to be turning bigger stuff again. And this blank was very rewarding.

I like the added safety of this type of chuck, I do reverse turn smaller stuff, but I prefer to be able to turn from start to finish.

I’ve had to squeeze 3 days worth of thing to do inro one afternoon.  That’s where listening to metal full blast comes in useful 🙂 🙂
