    I was watching one of Martin saban-smith’s videos, this particular one he was coluring this wonderful sycamore platter an i thought it looked very good and easy to make my own version of . I was wrong however i came out with this picce of ash , the colurs a bit dark and you cannot see all that went into it however you can still some orange and and that and the use of gold guilt cream in the ash grain is brilliant.

    Im hoping to try and do a sunset type bowl so let see how that goes with me sparying it.

    I think that looks great Luke. My first impression was that it has an almost animal print type look to it. I like the subtle pink/red glow just around the inner part of the rim.

      The grain pattern is very semetrical and you can see it has like overal rings in the centre and when you coem out to the rim its a wave of fairly thick grain.
