767 Tool Bowl Rest

The modular tool bowl rest by Robert Sorby is supplied in two styles, the 767 internal and the 767E external. They are part of the modular tool rest system.

The 767 internal tool bowl rest provides smooth internal curve cuts when hollowing out a bowl, especially as it’s a little deeper than a standard tool rest. A standard too rest may not be able to give your woodturning bowl gouge the support it needs.

The 767E external tool bowl rest offers a smooth shape to aid the cutting of the external bowl shape.

 

• Both bowl rests are 9″ (225mm) long and formed in a S style shape.

• Manufactured from specially hardened steel to provide a smooth surface. 

• Both have an internal cut thread, so are easily attached and removed from the modular tool rest system stems.
