Milliput can be used to repair or fill wood as well as ceramics, glass, masonry, plastics and metals.
It is an epoxy putty, supplied as two compounds you mix together. You shape it as a putty and wait until it sets rock hard. It will even set underwater and is heat and chemical resistant.
Milliput will not shrink as it sets, making it ideal for filling voids in wood. Once fully cured the putty can be sanded, drilled or even painted.
Milliput is available in these colours:
- Standard (Yellow/Grey)
- Silver Grey
- Superfine White
All colours are 113.4g in weight with equal amounts of both parts in the carton.
Mix the two compounds in two equal parts and continue to mix for a full minute past the point where the two colours of putty are completly mixed.
At normal room temperature it takes 3 to 4 hours to set like rock, if you want to speed things up you can heat it. It then takes about the same amount of time again to fully cure.
