Simon Hope Steady Rest Extra Suppoert For Large Work Pieces
Simon Hope Steady for supporting hollow forms when turning.
This hollow from steady rest is ideal for providing the extra security when hollowing large work pieces.
The Simon Hope steady rest supports spindle, vases and hollow froms from 30mm diameter up to a masive 400mm diameter. Dependant on spindle height.
A lathe with a spindle hight of 225mm (9″) will give you the maximum of 400mm diameter.
Manufactured from 10mm zinc plated steel this is one heavy duty steady rest. Product weight is 15kg.
Maximum turning speed is 1000rpm.
Please add a note to your order of your lathe bed gap so the correct mounting plate is supplied with your Simon Hope Steady.
