STBCHUCK Chuck Mounted Stebcentre

The chuck mounted stebcentre gives you the Robert Sorby Stebcentre but without the need to remove the chuck from the lathe.

The chuck mounted stebcentre fits most modern 4 jaw scroll chucks in the same way as a standard screw chuck.

Stebcentres have a unique sprung centre pin along with a ring of teeth which engage with the wood to give the maximum grip while reducing the risk of the wood splitting.  Even with the stebcentre gripping your work you can adjust your work by backing off the tailstock a little, the wood will be sitting on the steb point and the point used in the tailstock.

Chuck mounted stebcentres are available  in three head sizes:

• 1/2″ (13mm).
• 7/8″ (22mm).
• 11/4″ (32mm).
