Robert Sorby Patriot chucks are manufactured in the UK and boast a list of features that are second to none.

The patriot chuck has a light, compact design but is strong and will handle almost any size of project. With single key operation the jaws on this scroll chuck open and closed smoothly with out effort.

Each Patriot chuck comes supplied with a 2″ (50mm) jaw set, screw chuck, chuck key, Allen key and threaded insert dependent on the thread size ordered. When ordering the chuck with a thread adapter, please select the correct thread adapter size for your lathe when ordering.

 

The patriot chucks are also available in a direct thread of either 1 1/2” x 6 or M33 x 3.5mm.

 

Robert Sorby have added two new safety features to the M33 x 3.5 direct threaded chucks. First is a securing grub screw to lock the chuck to the spindle and on some of these big spindle lathes there’s a retaining collar so the Patriot chuck has a channel for this to connect to.
